Management Consulting

Ready to explore the world of management consulting? Praxis is in need of an advanced business, engineering or technology student for a full-time summer internship. Reporting to a senior project manager, the intern will be responsible for managing project workplans, assisting project managers, managing project documentation and coordinating project workshops. Work will be based both in the company’s Chicago office and at client sites.

HR Organization Development

Praxis is seeking an intern to lead one of our internal projects.  This project involves redesigning our performance management processes and systems. Reporting to a partner, the intern will be responsible for assessing the current performance management program, benchmarking other consulting organizations, defining current and best practices for service delivery organizaitions and developing a comprehensive set of recommendations. The intern will be asked to implement as much of the new process as possible. Work will be based both in the company’s Chicago and Indianapolis offices.


Professional Services Sales Associate

Experienced, high-performance sales professional needed to close sales for our suite of project management consulting services and high-end, performance-based training courses. You will be responsible for finding new opportunities for consulting engagements and closing sales of training programs. The ideal applicant will be goal-oriented, self-motivated, and effective at developing new sales leads. Travel required.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify sales opportunities for training and consulting
  • Close $1 million in new business per year
  • Become knowledgeable about training and consulting products and services
  • Create sales strategy and plan
  • Work with inside sales to create scripts and processes for cold calling
  • Use the Praxis selling system consistently
  • Give input to marketing team to develop the marketing strategy and plan
  • Attend networking events
  • Work vendor booth events to drive sales
  • Work with VP of Sales to track sales pipeline and closed business
  • Track all activities in Salesforce.com
