Lead Developer for new software product(s) using Python Django/Javascript
This is an opportunity to lead your own software product development effort in an environment that is already profitable (in the black financially). We are building a set of software products that will be sold to the life sciences world. Your first job will be to design and scope out the entire effort, do some early prototyping, and help us build out the rest of the project. We’re looking for someone that has experience in all aspects of product development. Up front, UI skills will be paramount. We are using Python and Django (and lots of addons) with some JQuery.
Praxis Management International is a life sciences consulting firm that works in the Pharmaceutical industry providing expertise around product development. Local candidates are preferred as we spend a lot of time with our clients to make sure we deliver what they need.

Professional Services Sales Associate
Experienced, high-performance sales professional needed to close sales for our suite of project management consulting services and high-end, performance-based training courses. You will be responsible for finding new opportunities for consulting engagements and closing sales of training programs. The ideal applicant will be goal-oriented, self-motivated, and effective at developing new sales leads. Travel required.
Responsibilities:
- Identify sales opportunities for training and consulting
- Close $1 million in new business per year
- Become knowledgeable about training and consulting products and services
- Create sales strategy and plan
- Work with inside sales to create scripts and processes for cold calling
- Use the Praxis selling system consistently
- Give input to marketing team to develop the marketing strategy and plan
- Attend networking events
- Work vendor booth events to drive sales
- Work with VP of Sales to track sales pipeline and closed business
- Track all activities in Salesforce.com
