Process Improvement - How We Work

Busines Process Analysis and Improvment is a systematic approach to help an organization make significant advances in the way it operates.

Our proprietary process analysis and improvement blueprint guides our teams.   We divide our efforts into distinct stages of work that can be used independently or combined to deliver a complete process analysis and improvement solution.

Step 1: Collect Information and Facilitate Discussion

We take the top down approach in collecting information starting with an understanding of context and scope of the project. We further breakdown processes that we think need to be explained further to meet the project objectives. To collect information we use techniques such as: Facilitated workshops, interviews, SOP and work instructions Review,  Questionnaires and Survey, Observation and Process Confirmation.

Step 2: Pictorial Represenentation

“A picture is worth a thousand words”

Our analysts have adapted this adage and refer to it on a daily basis. They strive to continuously improve the mechanisms to represent business interactions in a pictorial format.

We use IDEF0 to represent your complex business processes. In addition, statistical charts are used to represent business data.

Step 3: Benchmark & Analyze

We analyze the process for gaps, efficiency, compliance and quality based on the objectives. At this stage if needed we collect more operational data to enhance our assessment. Using Praxis proprietary macros, we convert the process maps into excel spreadsheet to represent roles, responsibilities and other specific business interactions.

Step 4: Work with stakeholders to design a recommendation

Once we have enough process details we work with our stakeholders to design the future state design. This future design is created keeping in mind the initial objectives which could vary from a new IT system to change in organization structure. To facilitate this we again use techniques such as: facilitated workshops, interviews, SOP and work instructions Review,  Questionnaires and Survey, Observation and Process Confirmation.
