Sem@ntix Helps You Produce Results
Praxis Sem@ntix is loaded with helpful features to make finding terms in MedDRA easier, the display of results more meaningful, and coding and reporting of information more concise. Praxis Sem@ntix also has support for Standard MedDRA Queries (SMQ). Now you can search, browse, and explore MedDRA SMQs as easily as searching the web. You can look at broad and narrow scope terms, active and inactive terms, and full SMQ history.
Browsing and Coding Tools
- Natural language search returns results for word forms and uses stemming rules to return more results and the advanced search engine allows searching for word roots and word order doesn't matter.
- Search results are highlighted to quickly find what you need.
- Term history for all versions of MedDRA is easily accessible.

SMQ Support
- Browse SMQs to see additional information after a search. Your search results are presented in alive view of the dictionary.
- SOC Alignment will show you the SOCs that aligns most closely with terms in an SMQ. Quickly see the relationship between an SMQ and a SOC to make decisions faster.
- SMQ details are available just like MedDRA details. The full description, sources, notes, algorithms, and full history of the SMQ is presented.
- Find SMQs that contain a list of terms that you define. Quickly determine which SMQs you may be interested in without any manual collection of data.
- SMQ Export will allow you to select one more SMQs and export a flattened list of primary terms contained in those SMQs.
